Chic Tracksuit? This may sound like an oxymoron, but trust me, it is possible to still look chic and stylish in something as casual and laid back as a tracksuit…
Often, when I am running errands and need to be in and out of the car all day, I opt for something comfortable and practical. As much as I love my heels, they would not be suitable for a busy day rushing around.
So, my go-to outfit when I am on the go (and now that winter is setting in), is usually something sporty mixed with casual every-day wear. More often than not, this consists of a nice pair of comfortable cargo/sports pants, a stylish hoodie/pull-over and a funky pair of sneakers/loafers to finish the look.
As you can see in the photos, I am staying true to my ‘less is more’, minimalistic style, and sticking to neutral tones, but I would also were this outfit in striking black and white, or with a pop of colour as well.
I’m sure you will notice soon enough that olive/army green is one of my favourite winter colours, so naturally I love these cargo pants. The pants with pocket detail and a drawstring waist band, are sporty, the off-white, pull-over tracksuit top with embellishments is slightly more girly, and finally the cream leather and suede loafers give the outfit a nice finish, and provide an over-all casual-chic look.
So, I hope you are inspired to go through your wardrobe and put together your very own Chic Tracksuit!
