The pencil skirt is a classic piece that you need on your wardrobe essentials list, as well as being a curvy girl’s dream.
This skirt typically nips in at the waist and either ends just above the knee, on the knee or just over the knee. It’s shape is flattering on most body types, it is chic and classy and very sexy without showing too much skin, which I love.
This skirt is worn a lot in the corporate world and can make a stunning work outfit when worn with a pair of heeled pumps, a crisp white shirt and a blazer.
But, while this skirt can make a great professional outfit, it works just as well as a hot Friday night outfit. Therefore, it is a versatile piece that you could conveniently wear from the office to Friday night drinks, and maybe just change your top. I am all about convenience so this is why the pencil skirt is one of my essentials.
You can also wear it just like I have, with a crop and some heels. I personally think, you can never go wrong with black and white, hence my colour palette, and I particularly loved this white crop with a choker collar as this style is current.
I am curvy, so the pencil skirt is one of my absolute favourite wardrobe essentials as it is made to accentuate the waist and hips which naturally flatters girls with curvier figures.
So, if you are curvy like me and want a sexy fitted skirt that shows off your shape in the best way possible, the pencil skirt is the way to go. It’s an investment your wardrobe will never let you regret.
